It’s hard to miss that the first snow has fallen in Åre. And for Åre locals and snow enthusiasts, that calls for an immediate trip up the mountain. So up we went with the cable car to the summit, and there it was—the white gold.
There’s something magical about playing in the snow. Back at home, it was time to try on ski boots and inspect all skis in anticipation of the first ski day, even though it might still be a few weeks away.
